Equipped for success:
The Foeck Winch Crawler/Plow Combination
OverviewThe Foeck Winch Crawler/Plow Combination is at the forefront of underground utility installations, offering unparalleled power, safety, efficiency, and precision. Our advanced technology is designed to meet the diverse needs of modern infrastructure projects, ensuring that installations are completed efficiently, safely, and with minimal environmental impact.
Winch CrawlerThe FWF94 FOECK winch crawler is the powerhouse behind our plowing operations, delivering the immense pulling force needed to tackle even the toughest ground conditions. With a tractive force of up to 180 tons, this equipment ensures that the FSP 24 FOECK plough can perform efficiently in all terrains and weather conditions. Capable of laying cables at depths of up to 2.5 meters, the winch crawler provides the strength and control required for precise and secure installations, where alternative methods often reach their limits.
PlowThe FSP 24 FOECK laying plow is the backbone of our cable plowing operations, engineered for precision and versatility. This advanced piece of equipment excels at creating narrow slots in the ground while simultaneously laying cables or pipes up to 280 mm in diameter. Equipped with a powerful laying sword, the plow efficiently rips through the earth, creating a perfect bed for the chute to lay the cables in a single, simultaneous motion. With its adjustable laying depth of up to 2,200 mm, the FSP 24 ensures secure installations even in challenging terrains. Capable of laying multiple systems at once—including warning tapes and fiber optics—it can handle all your cable needs in one pass. Designed for high efficiency, the plow can achieve up to 1,500 meters per hour, while its trenchless installation method preserves the environment without compromising on performance.
Environmental Stewardship
Our plowing process is designed with the environment in mind, minimizing disruption to the natural landscape while ensuring efficient underground cable installation. Unlike traditional trenching methods that often require removing topsoil and vegetation, our FSP 24 FOECK plough uses hydraulically adjustable outriggers to adapt to various terrains, reducing damage to the ground. With no need for excavation, we preserve soil integrity, prevent compaction, and maintain the existing ecosystem.
Additionally, our plowing method is significantly more energy-efficient, consuming only about 50 liters of diesel per 1,000 meters, compared to the much higher fuel demands of milling or excavating. This translates to lower CO2 emissions, making our cable-laying process not only faster but also more environmentally sustainable.
Time and Cost Efficiency
Traditional cable laying methods, such as milling, drilling, or excavating, can be slow, labor-intensive, and costly. In contrast, our FSP 24 FOECK ploughing system dramatically increases efficiency, completing underground installations 2-3 times faster than conventional approaches. With reduced labor costs and shorter project timelines, our services directly translate to significant cost savings for your project without sacrificing quality or safety.
With our advanced equipment, obstacles like ditches, rock layers, and water crossings are easily navigated. The hydraulically adjustable ripper shoe ensures consistent depth, even in challenging soil conditions, allowing for uninterrupted progress and eliminating the need for costly rework. Additionally, our plowing process can operate close to obstacles like walls or traffic signs, further enhancing the flexibility and cost-effectiveness of our cable installation services.
